Thank-you, awesome volunteer for sharing your time with us on May 4th, 2025 for the Island Cup Hammerfest Enduro. It’s your generosity and amazing vibe that makes events like this possible. The organizers and the riders appreciate the time you put in.
A Little Bit About What to Expect
- Course Flagging
- We will be heading out a day or two before the race (May 2 – May 3) to flag the course and make sure signs are in place. Bikes are encouraged for this task. Time commitment: 3-4 hours
- Parking
- Help us make the best use of the space in the parking lot. Time commitment 2-3 hours
- Registration
- Helping riders check in and get set up with timing chips. Time commitment 2-3 hours
- Timing Marshall
- Setting up and managing the timing equipment and race participants at the start or end of the stage. You will be well supported by the awesome crew at Island Cup series. Time commitment: all day.
- On-Course Marshall
- Depending on the location volunteers may be managing road crossings or be positioned at key safety points. Time commitment: all day.
- Course Sweeps
- Brings up the rear of a participant category, confirming that a stage is clear and everyone is down.
- BBQ
- Helping the BBQ organizers feed hordes of hungry riders and spectators.
On-course marshalling volunteers will be sent out with a bagged lunch. If there are food allergies, let us know in the comments. We will do our best to accommodate. All volunteers are provided with a meal ticket and are encouraged to take part in the Post Race BBQ. This year volunteers will receive a Hammerfest Enduro Volunteer t-shirt, please let us know your size below.
