Dear Hammerfest Trail Users,
Mosaic Forest Management and the Arrowsmith Cycling Club (ACC) wish to advise trail users that forestry operations are scheduled to start in June 2024 in the areas highlighted in orange below. Operations are expected to be underway for approximately six weeks (weather dependent). Trails in this area will have closures. For your safety please obey signage and avoid these areas during hours of operation which are 6am to 430pm weekdays. Please do not enter active areas and surrounding trails during hours of operation and please stay clear of any industrial traffic.
At Mosaic safety is our highest priority. When any activities are taking place our employees and contractors abide by strict safety rules. We expect trail users to abide by our safety rules and respect our worksite by not entering any active or closed areas – please respect all signage.
Mosaic Forest Management currently provides ACC with an Access Agreement to our private managed forest lands in and around Hammerfest. This agreement enables both groups to work together in the creation of trails strategies that support mountain biking, race events, tourism and recreation.
